TRAX, as a Web3 music platform, is dedicated to empowering artists by offering grants to fund investments into their sound. The TRAX Artist Grant Program aims to provide artists with the financial resources they need to enhance their musical creations and advance their careers in the ever-evolving music industry.

Our goal is to provide support to those who are both talented musicians and driving the expansion of the TRAX ecosystem.

There are three tiers to the TRAX Artist Grant Program; Amplify, Elevate and Empower which correspond to different funding opportunities & expectations.

Grant types

Criteria

As a team we encourage any artists who feel held back due to a lack of funding to apply for these grants. We recommend that artists apply for each grant sequentially i.e. first applying for the Amplify program, then the Elevate & finally the Empower program.

The TRAX Artist Grant Program is open to all genres, all geographies and all types of content or opportunities. These grants are available for executing projects beyond music e.g. music videos, producing merch, performances at live shows.

Grants will be awarded solely on merit and on the discretion of the TRAX team.

1. Showcase Your Artistic Vision When applying for the TRAX Artist Grant Program, it's essential to clearly communicate your artistic vision and the unique value you plan to bring to TRAX. Highlight your creativity, originality, and passion for pushing boundaries in your music and related content.
2. Demonstrate Financial Need Clearly articulate how the grant funding will benefit your artistic endeavors and address any financial constraints you currently face. Explain how the funds will be allocated towards sound investments that will elevate your work and contribute to your long-term artistic growth.
3. Craft a Compelling Proposal Take the time to craft a well-thought-out and compelling proposal that outlines your project's goals, timeline, and expected outcomes. Clearly articulate how the grant will enable you to achieve these objectives and how it aligns with TRAX's mission and values.
4. Emphasize Community Engagement TRAX is not just about creating music but also about building a vibrant and engaged community. Highlight how your proposed project will contribute to the growth and development of the TRAX ecosystem and how it will resonate with your existing fan base or target audience.
5. Provide Supporting Material Alongside your proposal, include samples of your work, such as music tracks, music videos, performances, or any other relevant content. These materials will help the TRAX team understand your artistic style, potential, and ability to make an impact in the music industry.
6. Be Authentic and Transparent TRAX values artists who are authentic, genuine, and transparent in their approach. Clearly communicate your motivations, inspirations, and challenges, as this will help the selection committee gain a deeper understanding of your journey and potential for growth.

Elevate

Elevate grants empower artists who have made strides in their musical pursuits. These moderate grants enable artists to reach new heights, whether through recording an EP, producing a music video, or expanding their audience.

Empower

Empower grants offer substantial funding for established artists to make a significant impact. With larger grants, artists can undertake ambitious projects such as producing a full-length album, embarking on a tour, or investing in extensive marketing efforts.
